main research interests are various new materials including functional nano-particles and composite materials. he actively promotes the industrialization of new material achievements, and cooperates with enterprises at home and abroad. relevant products have been applied in rail transportation and construction projects, power grid, modern automobiles, lithium-ion batteries, petroleum engineering, construction engineering, household appliances and other fields. he has applied for more than 300 national invention patents as the first inventor, (more than 160 patents have been authorized) and 6 international patents; published more than 300 papers in sci and ei listed high-level international journals, with h index above 51. he successively won 9 prizes including the first prize of shanghai science and technology progress awards, the second prize of shanghai science and technology progressawards, and the science and technology progressawards of ministry of education.
